What do you think you'll miss?

Life is unpredictable,
But isn't so fleeting...
So fleeting that you need to run,
To hold your breath,
As you sprint through the rose beds

I realize
A sluggish pace can lead to boredom,
But,
A lighting pace can lead to missing out...

On smiles,
On laughs,
On pain,
On sadness,
On everything,
On anything...
All of the things that lead to the big picture

Working so hard just to make the future better,
What of the memories you may never create?
What of the life you deserve?
What if you pass it by?
Instead of it passing you by?

So why can't you slow down?
